Registration is open for the Winter 2024 Technician Certification Training Courses. The courses are offered to help individuals prepare for WVDOH certification examinations required under their Quality Assurance Program. Thousands of individuals have attended courses in Compaction, Aggregates, Asphalt and Portland Cement Concrete over the last several years. Test comparisons prove that those persons who attend the CAWV/WVDOH courses have a higher success rate for passing the exams.
LOCATIONS: The first four courses will be held at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, West Virginia. Attendees are responsible for making all reservations for lodging by calling Cedar Lakes at (304) 372-7860. Please make reservations as soon as possible.
The Asphalt Plant Technician and PCC Technician courses will be held at WVDOH Material Division, 190 Dry Branch Drive, Charleston, West Virginia. Attendees are responsible for making all reservations for lodging. Lodging can be obtained at any Charleston area hotel but the Country Inn & Suites (304-925-4300) in Kanawha City is the closest to the WVDOH Materials Division. Be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE: Testing is in an online format which requires attendees to have a laptop, tablet or iPad type device to take the test. The use of smart phones during the test is prohibited.
